Meter Activation Guidelines

Do I need my meter installation form?

Installation form should be sent immediately after installation to email address submitted during KYC. Meter installer can also capture additional email addresses to receive installation form prior to installation form submission.

Has my meter been activated for vending?

Entering your meter number on our available payment channels should output customer name if activated for vending.

Where can I purchase energy tokens from?

Visit our nearest cash office, third party payment channels or our website https://ekedp.com/payment/option

Please note that meter comes with preloaded units and money value will be deducted either at first vending or subsequent vending.

Do I need my meter installation form?

• Ensure meter is connected to Power Supply (Power LED should be on)
• Ensure your UIU is communicating with the meter:
• For 04*********, 43*********, 95*********,0179*********,

• Ensure CIU is powered either with battery or power supply.
• Ensure its within proximity to the meter.
• Ensure CIU is paired with the meter.

• For For 45*********, 0101*********,
• Ensure CIU is connected directly (Not via inverter or ATS) to load side of the meter (The apartment/premises the meter is supplying).
• If out of available unit, ensure batteries are also in the CIU, and change-over not on alternative power source but on utility supply (EKEDC supply).
• Ensure CIU is paired with the meter.
