It has come to our attention that the clear tamper code on prepaid meters is being sold to customers by some unscrupulous elements to extort money from unsuspecting customers. We hereby wish to make it clear to customers that rectification of clear tamper mode is FREE
Those experiencing this issue are required to call the customer care line on 07080655555 to lodge a formal complaint.
As a company, EKEDC has zero tolerance for energy theft and all forms of sharp practices either by staff, agents or customers. Customers are encouraged to report cases of energy theft and staff misconduct through the various platforms provided for such by the company.
Customers should also note that all forms of payment should be made at EKEDC Cash offices and other designated Pay Points.
